Privacy Policy

FileTransfer: Fast WiFi Sync is designed for local network transfer. The app does not require an account and does not provide cloud storage.

Information handled by the app

The app stores transfer history and transferred files locally in the app sandbox on your device. This can include text messages, filenames, file sizes, media attachments, and audio recordings you choose to create.

Local network transfer

When you start sharing, FileTransfer hosts a local HTTP server on your device. Devices on the same Wi-Fi network that know the displayed address can view the browser transfer page, download shared files, send text, and upload files if browser uploads are enabled.

No cloud collection

We do not operate a backend service for FileTransfer file contents, transfer history, or user accounts. Your files are not uploaded to us by the app.

Apple permissions

• Local Network: used to let nearby browsers connect to the iPhone transfer page.
• Microphone: used only when you choose to record a voice attachment.
• Photo Library Additions: used only when you choose to save received photos or videos to Photos.

Data deletion

You can delete individual transfer records or clear history in the app. When transfer records are removed, the app also removes the matching sandbox files where applicable.
